Ben-Mor Acquires Historic Canadian Supplier Faucher Industries in Landmark Deal
Ben-Mor announced the acquisition of Faucher Industries, a leading supplier to the industrial hardware and transportation sectors in Canada. With a legacy spanning 175 years, Faucher will now operate under the name Faucher, a Ben-Mor company. This acquisition marks the twelfth for Ben-Mor and is the largest in the company’s history.
Faucher Industries maintains a strong North American presence, operating six strategic locations—five in Canada, including its head office in Montreal, QC, and facilities in Saint-Georges, QC; Mississauga, ON; Port Coquitlam, BC; and Edmonton, AB—as well as one U.S. location in Sterling Heights, MI.
The company stocks more than 10,000 products, including door accessories, hinges, drawer slides, handles, and locks. Faucher also offers custom manufacturing services for flatbed fabrics and tie-down belts, leveraging its deep expertise to meet the specific requirements of its clients.
The acquisition is expected to create significant synergy between the two companies, with overlapping markets and customer bases across industrial and commercial sectors. This strategic move will further strengthen Ben-Mor’s ability to serve its growing clientele.
Founded in 1992 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Ben-Mor has evolved from its roots into a dynamic and diversified company. The addition of Faucher Industries enhances Ben-Mor’s market presence and continues its trajectory of growth and expansion across North America.
