Talurit® T-LOC™: Reinforcing Turnback Ferrules for Demanding Applications

Extend the Limits of Your T-Ferrules with Patented Steel Reinforcement

Enhance your wire rope handling with the Talurit® T-LOC™, our patented steel reinforcement for turnback ferrules. The T-LOC™ is engineered to extend the range of applications for T-ferrules, offering a reliable solution in demanding situations. It also works seamlessly with your existing dies – no new equipment required.

In demanding situations, such as when combining high tensile steel wire ropes with solid- or wide angled thimbles, the T-LOC™ reinforces the aluminium ferrule, preventing deformation and, in extreme cases, splitting. Since the T-LOC™ is made from carbon steel with a higher tensile strength than aluminium it will cater with higher forces, offering enhanced durability and protection.

Approved for wire ropes of grade 2160 and validated according to EN 13411-3 standards, the T-LOC™ is the solution for tough and demanding conditions.

Talurit’s T-LOC™ – The innovative steel reinforcement

  • Sizes available: The Talurit® T-LOC™ is available as standard for wire rope diameters ranging from 8 to 59.9 mm, with larger sizes available upon request.
  • Tested & validated: The system is tested for 2160 grade wire ropes in class 35(W)x7, 6xK36WS, 6x19S and has been validated according to EN 13411-3 type testing requirements.
  • Easy swaging: The T-LOC™ system is designed for our straight-through press dies and T-ferrule system, allowing it to be swaged with your existing Talurit® dies along with the aluminium ferrule.

If you are using old and used press dies, ensure your die set is in suitable condition for swaging T-LOC™.
